Fans of Allu Arjun’s blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise, will have to wait a little longer for the sequel! Pushpa 2: The Rule, originally scheduled for release on August 15, 2024, has been postponed to December 6, 2024.
The makers announced the delay, citing the need for more time for post-production work. They assured fans that the extra time will allow them to deliver a film that meets the high expectations set by the first part.
Pushpa: The Rise took the box office by storm upon its release in December 2021.
Catchy songs from the Movie
The movie’s catchy songs, Allu Arjun’s stellar performance, and the gritty storyline all contributed to its success. The sequel is expected to pick up where the first part left off, with Pushpa Raj (played by Allu Arjun) facing new challenges as he rises through the ranks of the sandalwood smuggling world.
The Cast of Pushpa 2
The Rule reprises their roles from the first film. Allu Arjun will once again be seen as Pushpa Raj, while Fahadh Faasil returns as the antagonist, DCP Geetha Govindan. Rashmika Mandanna also returns as the love interest, Srivalli. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see how the story unfolds in the sequel!
